The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama enjoys a special relationship with Lady Susana Walton, widow of the great 20th-century British composer Sir William Walton, OM. As a result of this association, the RWCMD has recently established the Walton Fellowship, which is funded jointly by the College and the William Walton Trust.

Based at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in Cardiff, as well as at Giardini la Mortella, the Walton estate on the Italian island of Ischia in the Bay of Naples, the Walton Fellowship provides a unique opportunity for a performer to engage in a special project on Walton's music.

Kathryn is delighted to have recently been elected to the Walton Fellowship. As Walton Fellow, she will undertake a performance project on William Walton's solo songs.
